In the web class all students are assigned an individual computer that they can store documents on and log into their own profile. How beneficial would this be in an individual classroom if students had a computer for their personal use everyday?
Should the students be allowed to take the computers home? What drawbacks would this bring?
It would help very much. It would make school much easier. I would be able to keep track of my homework and research topics.No I dont think the student should bring the computers home because many students may lose them or break them.The only drawback is that it would cost alot of money.
ReplyDeleteIts beneficial because then our stuff is confidential and nobody will be able to look at your information. Yes, we should be able to take the computers home because then we can bring our work and information we saved home with us to work on some more or study it.
ReplyDeleteIt would help because students wouldn't get their information deleted by other people. Their information would be safe without anybody being able to touch it. No the shouldn't be allowed because the computers could be broken or damaged by younger brothers or sisters. Plus other people could steal their computer or delete their information.

ReplyDeleteI think that kids should be able to bring computers home from school. I think this because they can be able to do their homework &&' work on any projects for school. If kids were allowed to brinq computers home it would be a very good thing for kids. I think the drawback would be the computer being broken &&' or damaged.
ReplyDeleteIf an individual classroom had a computer for each student for everyday use students would be able to carry less or no notebooks to school because they would just type all the information in the computer. Students should not be able to take the computers home because they could become damaged, lost, or the student could forget it at home and them what would the student use in school.
ReplyDeletei think that it would be beneficial if students had their own computers because it would give the students a sense of responsibility, and a sense of privacy. students would not have to worry about anybody stealing their work and taking credit for it. Now taking the computers home is a different story. If a student took the computer home and broke it, said student would be out of a computer. Then the student is going to be salty because everyone else got a computer but that person. Then the school is going to have to get another one with money it honestly doesn't have. So i think it would be safer to just keep the computer at school.
ReplyDeleteif kids are able to use computers/laptops everyday yes they should be able to take computers home to stay organized and do things on the internet like email teachers or comment on blogs like we do.
ReplyDeleteIf kids were allowed to use a computer, it could be a good thing because it could help keep kids organized and would be help cut down the number of paper wasted by classrooms everywhere. I think computers should be taken home though because kids may not take good care of them.
ReplyDeletei think that it is a good idea for computers to be used daily for children. i have this opinion because it is a good way for children to learn more. i think that only people without computers should be able to take them home. if they get broke then they gotta pay 4 it.
ReplyDeleteit would be very cool. I mean, we would be able to do work on the computer research, and it would benefit us by knowing things on the computer. It may help students and we would have computer smarts as well. i say that it would be very good. :)
ReplyDeleteI think students should be able to have a laptop and take it home . Because if they take it home they would take good care of it . Then the computer can help them with their homework or something . but then again I dont think they should take it home because if they have little brothers or sisters they might break it .
ReplyDeleteIt would have an upside and a downside.Kids could bring their laptops home instead of the gigantic textbooks.Also,they could turn in homework faster because of easier research.The downside of laptops would be that kids might use their laptops for something else out of school such as facebook,twitter,or chatting.Plus they could break or damage it and have to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect. That way, our documents would not get mixed up or deleted. Also, then we would be able to use the computers without having to fight the other person using it for computer use.I do think that the students should be able to take the computers home. The only drawback would be if a student forgot their computer at home any work they had or that needed to be done in school wouldn't be able to be done since the computer is at home.
