You just got word you that have inherited $50,000 from a long least deceased relative. Your parents have given you permission to decide what you can to do with the inheritance. Your future is in YOUR hands. What would you do with the money? Please elaborate, giving reasons for your decision.

CEO Assignment

All,

Research a CEO from one of the Fortune 500 companies. List the name of the CEO and the company that they work for. What type of education does he or she have? What is their approximate salary? How long have they held that position? What is their highest level of education?

Black Friday

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are events that happen every year. What exactly is Black Friday? Why Not Purple Friday? What was the dollar amount spent on Cyber Monday?

What other technology tools websites could we use in the WEB class?

Computers for Student Use

In the web class all students are assigned an individual computer that they can store documents on and log into their own profile. How beneficial would this be in an individual classroom if students had a computer for their personal use everyday?

Should the students be allowed to take the computers home? What drawbacks would this bring?

CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies

All,

Research the Fortune 500 list. What does it mean for a company to be a part of this list? List one of the companies, the current stock price and the CEO of the company. See which companies your classmates chose and please do not list the same company twice.

Social Networking and it's Impact on Society

Social networking is changing the way that everyone gets their information. News programs ask you to follow them on facebook, atheletes tweet information to their fans on twitter, and Ashton Kutcher posts a video of himself with or without a wedding ring to get a message to his fans. Think about social networking and it's impact on society today. Are businesses able to get information to consumers better? Should social networking be used in education? How can Facebook help stimulate the economy? Is there ever too much information?
